When I saw your blog I knew I wanted to say something to all of you... These are hard times (as we all know). Often, our initial reaction is to close up and become overly concerned with our own personal issues, financial or otherwise. Your work with Habitat has reminded me of what is really important in life... That we help one another. Thanks for being an inspiration and for leading the way.

Congratulations to all twenty MCC students for their caring and hard work! The Habitat for Humanity Alternative Spring Break is fast becoming established as a wonderful way for college students - here at MCC and around the country - to make valuable contributions to the community. Melissa and Cynthia deserve much credit and thanks for organizing and overseeing this great effort.

Wow. Kudos to those kids.

I worked for habitat one year building affordable housing for families in Dorchester and it was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.

These kids have a lot to be proud of!

All of you should be commended on your efforts over spring break. this gives me fatih in this upcoming generation and many people are thankful for your deeds. I say Bravo!

I am glad to know that some students are finding ways to help other people. This group of 20 MCC students are really great. I am sure their school and parents are very proud. I hope many students will think about this idea.

This project is so great! I love the way that you motivate youths and elders to care for others. It simply lifted my spirit, and conditioned my self to actually participate in helping the homeless. Thanks for the inspiration!
