Running Fourth!

So for the last couple of months, a group of hearty MCC souls have been venturing out after work, running the streets of Lowell as part of MCC's as-yet-unnamed Running Club.  The group started out with a grueling 1.2 mile course in April, and over the course of weeks, has built itself up to running nearly 3 miles, including some very challenging courses.  (Fort Hill, anyone?)

Well this past weekend, the MCC running stalwarts made their roadracing debut at the John Carson two-mile Fourth of July race through Chelmsford, and what a debut it was!  Congrats to all who set their sights on the goal and met it!  Now onto a 5K race!  Here's some quick shots from before, during, and after the race of MCC's finest and fastest!

Congratulations MCC road warriors!  This is such a great accomplishment - hopefully the first of many future races, and a strong start for what promises to be a long-standing tradition of running fanatics on the MCC faculty/staff!  Bay State anyone?
