MCC Middle-Agers: Warriors of the Court
Wow, what an outing for the first-ever appearance of the MCC Middle-Agers basketball team! A great time was had by all in our first foray into roundball against our counterparts from the other side of the river, at UML. Lots of notables from the MCC batallion. "Nothing But Net" Pam Flaherty helped keep affairs close in the first half. Chris "Dr. Dunk" Brennan took care of business. Jeff Tejada didn't admit anyone into his zone. Kevin "Threethrow" Gately was registraring hoops from all over the court, and Jay "I'd Rather Be Skiing" Linnehan kept the score totals below budget.
For those who couldn't make it to the game, here's a couple of pics from the contest:

But MOST importantly of all, we kicked their butts in supporter numbers. A special thank you to all who showed up, led the cheers, screamed at us when we were down, and basically, had an all-around good time.
Here's the only shot we could find of our fans from last night:

Again, thanks to all our fans, special thanks to Jonathan Crockett for pulling it all together, and we'll be sure to let folks know when the Titans clash again. Meanwhile, camp coordinators Jonathan Crockett and Patrick Cook are already looking to set up the next big thing, hoping to coax a few other hardy souls out of their cubicles. What would you like to see next? Volleyball? Trivial Pursuit? Synchronized skating? Bull riding? Let us know.
