Howdy, Neighbor!
A big MCC welcome shout-out to the new neighbor on the block on our Lowell campus, the Blue Taleh restaurant, just on the other side of the Eastern Canal, at 15 Kearney Square!
Located on the first floor of the former home of the Lowell Sun newspaper, the Blue Taleh held its official ribbon-cutting ceremony this week, and so far, a healthy number of MCC's Lowell population has popped in to taste the restaurant's offerings.
The Thai restaurant boasts both a sushi and martini bar and is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Steven and Pon Ramirez of North Andover. Lunch specials, great soups and salads on the menus will likely be a staple for the MCC crowd-on-the-run. Call ahead at 978-453-1112.
And in case you're wondering where the name came from, Blue Taleh means "ocean" in Thai. MCC folks - if you haven't stopped in to check out the menu and atmosphere yet, take a walk over. Tell them this blog sent you! (It won't get you any special treatment, but it'll sound cool.)
