Nursing Health Fair
From guest blogger, Deena Sao, MCC Nursing student:
On Thursday, May 10, the Fundamentals of Nursing class held a health fair in the cafeteria of the Bedford campus. The students displayed information on various subjects ranging from Tuberculosis to domestic violence. They also gave free blood pressure readings. There was a decent turn out. People enjoyed free fruit from the childhood obesity booth, free water from the exercise and hydration booths and the skin cancer booth raffled off a basket of summer fun items. To enter the raffle you had to sing a children’s song about sunscreen written by one of the nursing students. It was very entertaining! Hopefully, all who came learned something new.

The skin analyzer allowed people to see invisible sun damage.
