Learn the latest in how to create and support online communities in higher education, with a focus on how communities can support new approaches to faculty support, student learning, and staff development.
This four-week online workshop will provide examples and successful case studies from leading institutions on the use of online communities for faculty support and development, including the University of Southern California, the University of Memphis, Case Western Reserve University and others, all focused on sharing examples and best practices for developing and supporting online communities. Participants will have an opportunity to design and build a prototype community that is focused on achieving their institutional goals, that will engage faculty and staff in collaborative projects, and that will provide forums for the exchange of information and ideas about teaching excellence (using iCohere, or another environment of their choice). Participants will have field trips to successful communities, and receive expert and peer review feedback on their prototypes.
Register by May 27 and receive the early bird discount. To learn more, visit: Online Communities Workshop
