Cultivating a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Culture at Community Colleges
The following questions were recently posed by Donna Duffy in an email addressing a future conference presentation on the role of SoTL in community colleges. With her permission, the questions are published here for us to consider.
- What sorts of conditions are needed to cultivate this work in our settings?
- What factors are most critical for faculty? I think we all know that time is one of them--how can we find creative ways to leverage more time for this work?
- In what ways can on-line connections address some of the unique CC needs?
