As the facilitator for the COPPER cluster I would like to acknowledge the value and importance of the blog in our ongoing discussions. When the blog began in January 2004 Don was the primary person who originated topics.  People commented on ideas but few felt comfortable with their own postings.  As the year has moved along many more people from various settings are sending in offerings for the blog. It has become a natural vehicle for sharing. Although Don manages things, I think that the COPPER cluster feels more ownership and views the blog as community property. It has been an excellent resource and will likely expand more as the new semester unfolds.  Many thanks to Don for starting us on this path!
