Revising & Creating Courses
Summer is a time when many faculty develop new courses and revise courses they are currently teaching. The following links may be helpful in this process:
Honolulu Community College has provided an excerpt from
Tools for Teaching by Barbara Gross Davis on preparing or revising a course.

The World Lecture Hall maintained by the University of Texas at Austin offers links to online materials for a large number of courses (syllabi, readings, learning activities, etc.). Be aware that some of the older course links may not still be active (particularly syllabi that were posted several years ago).

Adding a
service learning component to your course? A link with basic information to get you started comes from Cal Poly State University. We also have a number of COPPER members who can assist with this process.
