This session explored both student and faculty portfolios. An overview of the Pine Manor College Portfolio program for students was given from the perspective of the Dean of the College, the Asst. Dean of Student Life and a faculty member. The student portfolio is required of all students at Pine Manor and is based on the college's Learning Outcomes. It is a coordinated effort between the administration, the student life office and faculty. Faculty course portfolios and their benefits were also discussed in this session by a professor at Salem State College. The discussion focused on the value of the portfolio as a tool for professional development and reflection.
