AAHE Community of Practice #2
Last week we introduced one of the optional communities of practice that are available to all cluster members via our WebCenter. Today we'll feature a second COP, one that may be of particular interest to some of our community college members.
Community College Assessment: Unique Needs, Issues and Challenges–-"This AAHE COP brings together a group of community college assessment practitioners intent on learning from each other through research-sharing, spirited discussion, and solution-seeking strategies that will advance assessment in two-year institutions. Facilitator: Ray D. Somera, Guam Community College"
One interesting aspect of this community is that they have made use of the chat function of the WebCenter as a tool to discuss their topics and connect with one another. They also have a number of files available for download in their resources section.
To join this or any of the other three COPS you can sign up for membership by logging on to the
WebCenter and selecting "Memberships" on your home page. You can then easily check off any communities that are of interest.
