Well the first half of the semester here at MCC with a new version of Blackboard has been a bit of a struggle. We are moving forward to an even newer version in an attempt to improve the situation. The changes again will effect the Discussion board not only in function but in appearance. You will find the ability to mark postings as read or unread as needed. For those of you that hated the way the Discussion board was structured you will be pleased to know that you will now be able switch between list view and tree view. The search function is now collapsable. You will also be able to copy discussion forums within a course.
We also believe that this change will improve the overall functioning of the Discussion Board. Thank You for your patience while we have been trying to solve the issues with Blackboard. We look forward to hearing from you about the good or the bad.
